_{What distro are you using? Ubuntu? I'm a complete Linux noob but I am going to install a distro on my spare partition and I'd like to start with one that's user friendly and customizable (:}

I'd recommend ubuntu for your first distro. This one is crunchbang linux though. If you have an old computer (more than 4-5 years old) then crunchbang is the deal. But if not then better start with ubuntu at least till you get the general idea about linux and how things work.
